Apply for a pro bono investigation

OSINTrace takes on a limited number of free investigations each round for victims who genuinely can't afford a paid engagement. Our review committee reads every application — tell us what happened and why this matters.

How the program works

1
Application submitted
You tell us what happened and why you need this to be pro bono.
2
Committee review
We weigh hardship, evidence, and case impact against limited capacity.
3
Decision emailed
Selected or not — you'll hear from us either way, within 10 business days.
4
Investigation conducted
If selected, the same OSINT tracing and evidence work as a paid case.
5
Findings report
A clear written report — usable for your own records, police, or legal counsel.
⚠ Limited capacity We receive far more pro bono applications than we can take on for free. Selection prioritises financial hardship, evidence readiness, and cases likely to help protect other potential victims. If not selected, you're always welcome to submit a paid investigation request instead.

Application received

Thanks for the detail — our review committee reads every application. We'll email you with a decision, selected or not, within 10 business days.
